POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide financial and clerical support to the organization by acquiring, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it all for tax purposes, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts, and other just in time requests, analyses, and projects.
*This is a part time position with an average of 24-28 hours per week*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
Provides clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization, including daily bookkeeping and record keeping.
Maintain and monitor records of outstanding payables to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial documents for payments, auditing, and tax purposes by maintaining copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files.
Researches and verifies invoices against purchase orders, and ensures goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors.
Reconciles different clearing accounts such as temporary accounts, employee accounts, etc.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company and our members.
